We should know that “it is still possible to temper the effects of natural calamity while it is impossible to alter the consequences of man-made disaster.” If we do not behave ourselves, there will inevitably be troubles and disasters. So, we should sincerely chant Guan Yin Bodhisattva’s name and pray for the country’s safety and world peace. As long as the country is safe, sentient beings can be guided and liberated. Without peace, when can sentient beings be freed?
