Now that you have taken the Bodhisattva Precepts, you should cultivate the Bodhisattva path well. Practicing the Bodhisattva path requires a sense of urgency, because our lives are short. In fact, life is like the sparks created by rubbing stones together, or flashes of electricity and light. If you do not take hold of your time, then once it passes by, it will be difficult or perhaps impossible to practice even if you wanted to. That is why we should seize our time, causes and conditions.
