The riches and nobility of the Buddhadharma can be found in The Flower Adornment Sutra
Ordinary beings like us cannot understand what the Buddhadharma mentions about every grain of dust being a world in and of itself, with a Buddha turning the Dharma Wheel in each and every one of them. How can a child grasp the understanding of a grownup? We need to read The Flower Adornment Sutra to know about it, as it is said, “Without reading The Flower Adornment Sutra, one would not know the riches and nobility of the Buddhadharma.” Since such riches and treasures lie in the Buddhadharma, if those who are capable of doing so do not delve into it but instead compete over fame and profits in society, how miserable it would be when they end up with bruises and wounds from such strife.
