Hear the Dharma once and it will be a Bodhi seed forever. As long as you listen to it with the utmost sincerity, even if you do not understand, you will reduce your karmic obstructions and enhance your blessings and wisdom.

Will our merits be diminished when we give them to others? Not giving is akin to putting a seed into storage—the seed will not grow unplanted. The old saying explains it well, “Sowing a seed in the spring, you will reap tons of harvest in autumn.” Your merits will not be any less; the more you give, the more blessings you will receive in return!
