You are now precept disciples of the temple. As for the areas that you find the temple does well, you should maintain them and learn from them. As for areas that you find to be lacking, you should resolve to take on the work! This is your own home temple where you received the precepts, so you should cultivate the Bodhisattva Way by helping to make it flawless and complete. After you have taken the precepts, you also need to practice them. Practicing the precepts means to not do anything unwholesome, but it also means to practice all kinds of good deeds! The first step is to support and protect the Three Treasures. By doing so, you will be benefiting countless sentient beings.
