Amitabha Buddha is a greatly compassionate father. The Holy Name encompasses countless meritorious virtues, blessings and wisdom. Therefore, we should transfer the merits and virtues from Buddha Recitation to all sentient beings of the Ten Directions. This is an act of great giving that nourishes our Dharma body and wisdom-life.
