During the first three days of the lunar new year, the temple will hold the Spring Auspicious Blessings Prayer Service. The service will consist of recitation of the Sutra of Auspiciousness and the Universal Gateway Chapter, and chanting of the Buddha’s name. Every morning there will be a ceremony of Six Offerings, during which the temple’s Sangha assembly will respectfully present offering items on behalf of the benefactors. The names of the benefactors will be announced during the Dedication of Merits before the Buddha. At the beginning of the year, we invite you to personally participate in the service at the temple or online, and pray that our karmic obstacles will be removed, our wisdom will unfold, and our blessings and wisdom will grow.
