Volunteers from the Community Based Organization at Lingyen Mountain Temple (Canada) in Burnaby, visited Burnaby Hospital on behalf of the temple and donated $2,000 Canadian dollars to express their long-term friendly concerns for the hospital and support for the ongoing construction of the medical building. They hope to contribute their efforts to provide better treatment and care for patients in need. Claire Wang, the Financial and Administrative Vice Manager of the Hospital Foundation, expressed gratitude for the donation and expressed her hopes for future exchanges and collaborations that benefit the community. The currently under-construction medical building is one of the largest healthcare investments in the province of British Columbia. It will include the construction of two new patient care buildings and a new cancer center, aiming to provide improved healthcare services for the community residents in the near future.
