Please join us for the Guan Yin Dharma Service to commemorate the day when Guan Yin Bodhisattva left home-life to become a monastic practitioner. We pray that Guan Yin Bodhisattva, with her thousand eyes and arms, will shine upon and protect us, raining sweet dew on all sentient beings in the Dharma Realm. May all participants embark on the journey that begins with the cultivation of blessings of the human and heavenly realms, and ultimately leads to the attainment of Buddhahood.

(1) Daily schedule:
i. Reciting the three Guan Yin sutras.
ii. Making the Ten Offerings and prostrating to each word of the Universal Gateway Chapter of The Lotus Sutra.
(2) During the Dharma Service, you may set up longevity or memorial plagues and participate in the Ten Offerings in front of the Buddha for the adornment of both the body and the mind.

Recite the Sutra of Earth Store Bodhisattva’s Past Vows and chant the name of Earth Store Bodhisattva.

During the Dharma Service, you are welcome to set up longevity plaques in prayer for blessings for your family, or memorial plaques on behalf of your deceased relatives and friends.

Lanterns will be put up from 9/9 – 9/19 to pray for the deceased. You are also welcome to make meal offerings and other contributions, to plant seeds in the field of blessings.
