Drop-in Meditation Class for Beginners

This English Beginners’ Workshop includes formal meditation instruction, guided sitting and walking practice, and group discussion as we explore the basics of meditation. Everyone is welcome as the curriculum is designed to enhance our skillsets and knowledge.

Attending an in-person workshop
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in and settle into the Recitation Hall.
  • While in the hall, all phones and other electronic devices must remain completely turned off or on silent.
  • Parking at the temple is limited due to the construction work. You may park in the golf course parking lot north of the temple on No. 5 Road. We suggest public transportation when possible.
  • Participants are invited to enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch provided from 11 AM to 11:40 AM
  • No food or beverages, including water, are allowed in the Recitation Hall.
  • Please leave your shoes on the shoe shelves outside the Recitation Hall.
  • Please avoid using scented products—lotions, deodorant, hair products, perfume, clothes laundered with scented detergent—before you come to the temple.
