Divination Instructions
- Make an incense offering and pray that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will compassionately respond.
Recite the Incense Offering Verse:
I wish that these clouds of incense will permeate the ten directions, as an offering to The Three Treasures, Dharma-protecting dragons and devas. May all sentient beings be permeated with the wisdom of Buddha. - Please kneel, press your palms together, and sincerely recite the “Praise of Guan Yin”:
Guan Yin’s vows are wonderful and inconceivable.
His responses always rise to the occasion just in time.
He rescues sufferers by finding their voices like a magnet attracts iron.
He manifests everywhere to speak the Dharma, like the moon reflecting in a pond.
He rescues living beings in worlds as numerous as dust motes.
In particular, he showers compassion upon this Saha World.
Even over eons of time, we would not be able to fully praise his unfathomable kindness.
We pray that he will compassionately protect and support all beings.
- Recite “Namo Great Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva” (10 times)
- Say your name and your prayer, and ask the Bodhisattva for guidance.
- Then draw a ball from the bucket to obtain an oracle number.
- On the webpage, please enter your oracle number in the white ball, and the divination will be shown. If you ask another question, simply enter the number you obtain in the white ball again.
